A letter to my liver
Oh dear liver can you ever forgive me?
I have abused you so much
I have treated you like a step child
For you are my vital organ and I cannot survive without you
I cannot trade you in for a new one
You are the organ most forgotten when we absent mindedly indulge ourselves
Forgetting you every liquor store,inside a night club, while on the couch, or straight going through a mental episode
But I am glad to report that I have kicked the habit that has enslaved me for years
I will never hold it against you if one day your resentment leads you to my demise!
